Mr. Maeda (M1) gave a research presentation titled “Modeling and Analysis of Locust Swarms with OR35-Deficient Individuals” at The 9th International Symposium on Swarm Behavior and Bio-Inspired Robotics 2025, held from September 23 to 25 at the Central Lecture Hall Building, University of Göttingen (Göttingen, Germany).
This was his second participation in an international conference, following his previous presentation in Thailand.
As the symposium focused on “swarms,” he found it highly insightful to listen to other researchers’ presentations, gaining new perspectives and valuable lessons throughout the event. On the other hand, he reflected that it took him some time to respond to questions during his own presentation, which made him realize the need to further improve his English communication skills. He expressed his determination to work harder on that aspect moving forward.
